Creating an API Token in Fastly

You can add your Fastly CDN account to IO River and use it with your services. In order to add Fastly as one of your CDN providers, you need to create an API token in your Fastly account.

To create an API token:

1. Sign in to your Fastly account
2. Navigate to the Account settings (choose the user dropdown, and select Account)
3. Select the API Tokens tab
4. Click Create Token
5. Fill the new token form:
   • Name - for example “ioriver-api-token”
   • Type - Select Automation token
   • Scope - Check Global API access
   • Access - Select All services
   • Expiration - Select Never expire
6. Click Create Token

Save the created token, and paste it when you add your Fastly CDN here.
